Best Review: Crumpler The Customary Barge Deluxe (Black/Gunmetal) - This pack was built to a very high quality level. Everything about it speaks to it's durability, and strength. For example, the material is heavy duty, and the zippers are huge, super strong, and easy to use. This pack has TONS of padding everywhere. The one reason I rated it as 4 instead of 5 stars is that it's bulky. There is no way to compress the pack down or lighten it. The pack always looks like it is totally stuffed (from the outside), even when empty. All that padding and heavy duty material also adds weight so, what you gain in safety you loose in shoulder comfort.Overall you could probably go tumbling down a mountain side with your laptop and ten grand worth of camera gear in this pack and find all your gear perfectly safe at the bottom.
